Organization Wants Cameron Diaz To Experience Farm Life In India
2010-07-16 08:23 (0 comments)
In response to the latest reports that Cameron Diaz is looking to skip town and become a farm girl, a Delhi-based non-governmental organization (NGO) dedicated to improving ecological harmony is hoping to partner with the actress.
A source close to the organization, who wishes to remain anonymous, would like to bring Diaz to India where she can bring attention to the devastation taking place on the nation’s farmlands due to pesticide pollution, debt, and commercial projects.
“Our vision matches with Cameron’s and some other organizations that are also looking to champion the cause of keeping and restoring agricultural farmlands,” said the source. “We are looking at teaming up with Cameron given her knowledge on the subject.”
Because of her new-found enthusiasm for promoting agriculture, the organization believes that Diaz could be the key to saving agricultural land in India.
