Sustainable mountain hut powered by solar energy.
The SnowCrystals is the brainchild of designers at Architecture and Vision and has been designed to offer eco-conscious skiers and snowboarders a green abode. The mountain hut has been inspired by the shape and beauty of the natural environment of which it becomes a part of.
The modular units have been created from hexagon-shaped sections driven from the shape of snowflakes. The hut is powered by renewable energy systems that include solar panels and a hydroelectric generator. The hut also includes a biogas system that runs on waste.
